I'm on the Hudson River so I better keep a lookout. In the center of the eye it's a bright sunny day...it's the eye walls that will rip your house out of the ground...

You could always come to Jacksonville, Florida....hasn't been truly hit since 1964 (Dora). A few close calls, though...

I don't know what other people do for hurricanes, but perhaps a travel to both Florida and Texas would be a plan.
