sir Elvee, where in Maryland are you?

Yes we've been hit in this state indirectly, but rarely get a direct hit. Up the Bay is a scary thought!

I live on the Eastern Shore in Federalsburg. About 20 miles east of Easton.

Tracking the Eye Proggie has Isabel forcasted hitting The Outer Banks in North Carolina and then passing over Norfolk Va.

Please don't rely on this info...Hurricanes have minds of there own.

Hurricanes, tornados, volcanos, & earthquakes are fun to watch.
Vermont had a huge storm. I guess it was a mini tornado. That happened several years ago. The wind was 70 mph. Vt doesn't have storms, only t-storms.

It looks like Michigan might get some bad weather associated with it- probably
just rain, though.

North Carolina, uncomfortably close to the coast, I feel like I have a giant bullseye painted on me

Heck, we get storm surge and flooding even when the hurricanes pass without even touching the coast.

Well I don't expect to get hit hard here in Mass., but its still too early to say who will get it most. By wednesday I think they can be more sure. Right now they say up here we might not get much effects. Even so people are already worried, I think that's a bit much. I work in a store and they are asking for radios, in case the storm hits.
Why do people do that? Lose their heads when a hurricane is coming? Sure lets stock up on plenty of refrigerated food, then if the power goes out, we'll lose more..... It makes sense to be prepared, but use your head.

I'd better watch out here in Alberta Canada!

Seriously though, we're due for our first snow tonite or tommorow.

The track has shifted, the little dotted centerline now goes directly overhead

I'm a maryland boy too! Today is a beautiful day...not a cloud in the sky, which is good weather for climbing up to my roof to unclog my gutters before Isabel swings by.

We had unexpected hail here yesterday (and a really low low last night).  I
can only imaging that Isabel is playing tricks with the weather.  But, as I
said yesterday when it started with the cold rain "Fall has fallen" on
Michigan.  (Which, I'm OK with because I love fall!)

Fayetteville, NC

I'm looking at three weather sites right now. One has the predicted course nailing Washington D.C. head on, one has it nailing me head on, and the other one shows it going feet dry somewhere in Virginia.

Since my last post the one that had it aiming it towards me has been updated, now it'll look like we'll still get hurricane force winds, but no longer being cored.
